“My children never knew what ‘daycare’ was.
My Mary Kay business gives me choices.”

Actions speak louder. “Growing up on a Wyoming ranch, I was blessed with close family ties and a strong work-ethic model,” says Independent National Sales Director Deb Wehrer. “We were never allowed to quit or leave a task undone,” she explains, “all a wonderful foundation for my future Mary Kay business.”

“My parents told us, ‘Pretty is as pretty does,’ meaning your actions speak louder than your words,” Deb emphasizes. She and her husband and enthusiastic supporter, Mike, transfer these valuable lessons to their children, Kendall and Konner. All four enjoy outdoor activities like hiking and swimming. Deb says, “My children never knew what ‘daycare’ was. My Mary Kay business gives me choices.”

And that lifestyle is what Deb’s National area Independent Sales Directors want. “Sales Directors in my area work at a level of excellence in order to spend time on what they value most. My sister, Independent Beauty Consultant Connie McIntosh-Hoffman, and I have especially enjoyed the Mary Kay journey together as well as being sisters.”

Deb feels blessed to have Independent Senior National Sales Director Davanne Moul in her life. “We have shared so much and still are forever friends. I couldn’t have accomplished this without her.” And, Deb recalls as a 20/20 Club member, attending the luncheon with Mary Kay Ash. “I was so impressed. She spoke to each of us and called us her daughters. Mary Kay was such a visionary to start a company where people really can keep their priorities in order!”

“The Mary Kay opportunity opens an avenue for women to truly encourage each other to success,” Deb says. “How can we do less than to love unconditionally and give everyone a chance to live the life they deserve with a Mary Kay business?”
