“My biggest reward is helping others become the beautiful creatures God intended them to be. ”

Leading with love and respect. Independent Senior National Sales Director Cindy Fox named her NSD area the “LOVE Area.” It speaks of her love of the Mary Kay opportunity and the way it helped transform her into a leader of women. It’s also an acronym for Leading Others with Vision and Excellence — a motto she puts into practice daily.

“A Mary Kay business requires hard work and sacrifice, but you can have it all through this opportunity. If it’s money you need, a Mary Kay business offers you the opportunity to earn commissions. If it’s friends, I can say my best friends are my sister Independent Sales Directors and Independent Beauty Consultants. If it’s self-improvement, I’m a walking testimony.”

An introvert at heart, Cindy worked hard to overcome many fears to become successful in her business. What she lacked in confidence, she made up for with persistence. From the beginning, she never missed a meeting and learned much from her mentor, Independent National Sales Director Emeritus Helen Titus, otherwise known as Cindy’s “Mary Kay Mama.”

Initially, Cindy loved the tangible rewards she reaped over the years, including furniture for her home and jewelry. “Now, my biggest reward is helping others become the beautiful creatures God intended them to be,” she says. She also loves raising her twins, Samuel and Susanna, who are the center of her world, and being close to her husband, Steve, her high school sweetheart. “The Mary Kay opportunity has given us a dream lifestyle that I never imagined we would have,” says Cindy.
