“My passion and purpose was always to be a stay-at-home mom, but we needed extra money. The flexibility within a Mary Kay business to enjoy both is rare.”

Togetherness is good. When someone asks what Independent National Sales Director Emeritus Diana Heble did before her Mary Kay business, she has a stock answer: “I was a child! I married at 20 and was offered the Mary Kay opportunity on my honeymoon.” Reared in a farming community, Diana was nervous about selling in Denver where she and her husband, Alleyn, first settled.

Along with early business success, Diana started married life with strong family priorities. “My passion and purpose was always to be a stay-at-home mom, but we needed extra money to supplement our farm income. The flexibility within a Mary Kay business to enjoy both is rare. Alleyn supported me as my Mary Kay business grew. The flexibility allowed me time with my husband. We’ve played together, attended all our children’s school functions together, even shared all our meals together. That’s the kind of freedom a Mary Kay business offers.”

Diana credits the Mary Kay opportunity with introducing her to a life of glamour and abundance, and the skills to “paint the picture.” She’s grateful for the opportunity of showing other women how to become their most radiant and confident best. A Mary Kay business is about so much more than money, but along the way, I paid for a child’s car and for an entire college education. We’ve visited many foreign countries, and I’ve been rewarded with many diamonds, thanks to the Mary Kay opportunity. We’ve had a dream lifestyle!

Diana knows from experience that making the decision to live in the land of the great comes with a special charge. “The price is self-discipline, time management, work ethic and having a servant’s heart,” she explains and offers encouragement to “be willing to trust and ask for guidance,” adding, “I hope you dance!”
