“I love that our Mary Kay opportunity ignites hope in
women's souls … it fosters joy, ignites our hearts and creates a sense of purpose … ”

Visualizing success. "When you put people in a secure, comfortable and welcoming environment, there’s no telling where they’ll go," Independent Senior National Sales Director Stacy James says. "I love that our Mary Kay opportunity ignites hope in women’s souls. Hope for the future is a magical thing. It fosters joy, ignites our hearts and creates a renewed sense of purpose in our lives."

When Stacy began her Mary Kay business, she needed extra money. What she didn’t realize is that she also needed the praise and support that came with it. "The Mary Kay opportunity offered me every support system I needed," Stacy says. "I just flourished."

Stacy never felt guilty about leaving her teaching career and soon visualized her life taking a different course. "When I first learned to swim, my grandfather insisted that I sit on the diving board and visualize myself diving in and swimming the length of the pool. I used this same visualization technique to picture myself taking on the role of an Independent National Sales Director."

Today Stacy’s vision has become a reality, and her husband is her biggest supporter. "Movies at mid-afternoon and lunches that can last all day are just a few of the perks," she says.

But her favorite perk is helping other women visualize and develop their own dreams. "I believe this opportunity has the potential to reenergize a woman, give her hope for the future and new excitement," Stacy says. "It gives me such hope that little girls growing up today can make it to adulthood knowing they hold the key to their own futures."
