Imagining the possible. As a child in her Columbian homeland, Independent Senior National Sales Director Gladis Elizabeth Camargo looked through an old catalog and imagined herself as one of the successful executives she saw pictured – wealthy, wearing expensive jewelry and living in beautiful homes. “Now, I know that back then, deep in my heart, I did dream of becoming an Independent National Sales Director,” she says.

“My Mary Kay business has shaped my life and changed my destiny. Today, I am a mentor who leads by example.” Thanks to the Mary Kay opportunity and Gladis’ determination, her childhood dream became a reality.

As she mentors others, Gladis recalls, “My parents taught me my faith and guided me, and my father set such a dynamic example with his entrepreneurship. I have all this engraved on my heart, and my business receives all the benefits from those lessons.”

“Independent Executive National Sales Director Lupita Ceballos is like Mary Kay Ash to me,” Gladis continues, “and, Lupita is always so put together and ready to set the pace. Our relationship is based on trust, respect and lots of love.” Gladis also values her dear friend, Independent Future Executive Senior Sales Director Lorena Merlos who has been like a sister to her.

Gladis has the love and support of her family including husband, Ferney Bohórquez; son, Camilo Andrés; daughter, Karen Adriana; and brothers and sisters, Carlos, Margarita, Obdulia and Guillermo Camargo. Their favorite activity is watching movies in the theater room of their new dream home.

“My goal is to share the beautiful Mary Kay opportunity that changed my life, offering others the blessings I have received,” Gladis says. Also dedicated to this mission is Gladis’ National area. “We are family. They love me the way I love them, and this is something very special!”
