Family fun. Independent National Sales Director Joyce Grady
Emeritus called herself a former snob. Joyce says, “I was a person who thought she was too sophisticated to have a Mary Kay business.” But after finding out the facts about the Company, Joyce realized it was a great business opportunity that she could pursue for herself and still have time for her family.
Joyce’s deep thinking took her life on a new course. “I was making money, but the best part was that I was having fun,” Joyce recalls. “I made lots of new friends and changed for the better.”
Her attitude changed and her circle of influence changed. “My husband started helping me,” Joyce says, “by teaching our sons, who were 11 and 13 years old at the time, to respect my Mary Kay business and to help me. They cleaned trays and stocked inventory. It really became something we did together as a family.”.”
Joyce ’s Mary Kay business also included two daughters-in-law, her mother, a sister, an aunt and a sister-in-law. “I am truly blessed to have had so many of my family members supporting me as I climbed the ladder of success,” she says.
As an NSD Emeritus, Joyce looks
forward to giving back as she volunteers for organizations such
as Operation Smile. "My life has been so rich and full of
blessing thanks to Mary Kay, and I just can't help but pass
those blessings on!"
