Breathing belief. To be in the presence of Independent National Sales Director Temi Odeyale is to feel like a million bucks. She is a woman who understands that listening is more important than speaking and that people soar only when they are seen, understood and validated. The secret to her success may be because of her “150 percent belief in the women she leads.” Temi explains, “I make her feel important and teach her to reach her potential. When a woman is in front of me, it is all about her.”

Temi is also the devoted wife to Pastor Ayo, with whom she co-pastors. Her Mary Kay business affords her the privilege of working from home and being Mom to son, Tobi and daughter, Tosin. “I used Mary Kay® products for two years before the Mary Kay opportunity was offered to me, but when I spoke with a National Sales Director, I knew what I wanted. I wasn’t excited about the money: I was excited about the flexibility and fun.” Temi has always known that faith and hard work will take you through and attributes that, in part, to her mom and dad, who taught her that when she does her part, God takes care of the rest.

Temi’s person of influence in her Mary Kay business is Independent Senior National Sales Director, Elizabeth Muna. When describing her mentor, Temi says, “She is not just my NSD, she is a friend who is always there.” Just as Elizabeth’s friendship and leadership have made a difference in Temi’s life, she wants to do the same in the lives of other women to help them reach their full potential. In becoming the leader of influence she believes she was destined to be, she knows that becoming a Mary Kay Independent National Sales Director broadens her platform of influence. She also loves a business where she can keep her faith first.

Her strong desire, as a leader, is to share what she has learned with many new Independent Beauty Consultants. She wants others to enjoy the same outstanding personal journey she’s made. “Walking with the daring” is what Temi enjoys most about her Mary Kay business and the life she leads. “I’ll travel hours and hours to walk with women who simply want the best the world has to offer. As an Independent National Sales Director, I must lead by example to show others that it can be them, too!”
