“The pain of regret is greater than the pain of discipline.
Discipline yourself today so you will have no regrets tomorrow.”

Always do your best. "The pain of regret is greater than the pain of discipline. Discipline yourself today so you will have no regrets tomorrow,” emphasizes Independent Senior National Sales Director Dacia Wiegandt, who debuted as a National Sales Director in just over four years after signing her Independent Beauty Consultant Agreement. “I kept my eyes on the target and continued to work my business, even when it seemed like nothing was happening,” Dacia says. “And it was so worth it!"

Initially, Dacia juggled teaching and planning her wedding for 400 guests with her Mary Kay business. Then Dacia experienced an "aha" moment when she heard a Million-Dollar* Sales Director say, “You don’t need to wait to become an NSD.” Dacia, who was tired of being mediocre, went home, hired an office assistant and stepped out to work with people. “This is a people business,” she explains.

Dacia surrounded herself with women of excellence, and one of those is Independent Senior National Sales Director Joanne Bertalan. “She’s been such a sweet mentor to me and helped me to focus during difficult times,” she says. Dacia wishes she could have talked with Mary Kay Ash and says, “I would have asked about all the funny obstacles she experienced starting the Company.”

“My parents deserve so much credit for their roles in my life. I learned people skills from my mom and business skills from my dad,” Dacia says. And, she champions her husband and high school sweetheart, Karl, for his patient encouragement whenever she opted to hold a third skin care class on Saturday or missed a date night to reach a weekly goal.

“I took the initials N.S.D. (never stop dreaming) to heart.” And Dacia adds, “I work each day as though it’s my last, so when I fall asleep at night, I know I have done my very best that day.” Dacia’s National Area is permeated with her positive attitude, and she predicts, “They are daring, big thinkers who will move!”
